Blogging has been a nerdy buzzword for a good few years now.  But what does it all mean?  Well, a Blog is defined as “a discussion or informational site published on the Web and consisting of discrete entries (“posts”) typically displayed in reverse chronological order (the most recent post appears first)”  Usually consisting of 500 words or less, and containing topics that are engaging and informative, your blogs are little written conversations with the world.  How you blog and what you blog about makes all the difference in how your blog page performs.

Simply speaking, these little articles are an informative read for visitors to your website that are amusing and engaging to your target audience.  From a marketeers point of view though, blogs offer so very much more than just a witty or helpful post that make you look clever!

Your visitors probably have a wealth of other providers to choose from when they are looking to purchase your goods or services.  With this in mind, you need to give them a reason to buy from you.  Online shopping may offer plenty of bargains, but buyers can be hesitant when they can’t actually see or feel the quality of the items until after they have paid for it and it has been delivered.
